Theara is our Cambodian translator who everyone in the world absolutely loves. I don't know anyone who doesn't crack up at her and the things she does and says. I was so excited for Ayla to get to meet Theara. She prayed alongside me the entire time we waited for Miss Ayla to come into this world. Theara stayed the night at my mom and dad's house. We went over after I picked up Ayla from daycare. Blair met us there. We ate chicken, asparagus (a first for both Abe and Theara), and homemade mac 'n cheese. She loved the meal. Theara loved holding and playing with Ayla. She even played the Cambodian version of "peek-a-boo" with her - which goes something like covering her eyes, and then shouting "Buh Uuh!" Ayla wasn't too sure about it. Haha! We all laughed for a bit and then we had to take Ayla home for bed. It was a very short trip this year, but any time we can ever get with Sister Theara is a blessing!
