Fancy Turns 60

Fancy turned 60 on May 22nd this year. I got the privilege of taking her out for coffee, pedicures, lunch, and drinks during the day before her birthday party that evening. I can't believe she is already that old but she sure doesn't look like it! We had flank steak for dinner with harvest potatoes and salad. Tyler bought her a cake and I made her her favorite chocolate pie dessert. Yum! Dad surprised her with a fire pit and a trip to Cabo. They will have a blast!

Ayla Likes Green Applesauce

This particular morning, Ayla woke at her usual 7:00 am time, but then requested free food coloring applesauce for breakfast. She really is the weirdest!

Fast Flash 5k

This morning our family ran our first 5k together. The weather was cold, rainy, and windy but we completed it all in coats, blankets and a double jogging stroller with flat tires! I'm sure our next family race will go much more smoothly!

Lesley Runs the Mini

Ayla had her last day of gymnastics class today. We are going to take a break and join swimming lessons for her and Jasper for the next couple weeks. Then we will think about doing them again at the end of summer. After her class, we went downtown to see KK, NiNi and Lesley. Lesley ran her first Mini marathon and then we hung out for swimming in the hotel and then went to dinner. It was so god to see everyone and the cousins had fun playing together. Too bad we couldn't get Jasper to stay still for a full-on Cousin Photo!

Thank You Beauiful Weather!

We finally had some truly beautiful weather so we took advantage! We got on our bathing suits, Blair brought up the water table and we played to our heart's content! It was about time!
