Merry Christmas!

Christmas this year was wonderful.  Ayla and Jasper were an excellent age and seeing their excitement over every little detail was priceless!

On December 23rd, we headed down to Salem to celebrate with Blair's family and spend some time together.  The kids played and parents enjoyed each other's company.

The kids baked chocolate chip cookies for Santa and set out carrots for the reindeer.

On Christmas morning, Ayla and Jasper were thrilled to see what Santa had brought them!  Ayla got her very own pink cooking supplies.  Santa told her in a note that she was now old enough to cook in the "real" kitchen with her mommy, and that was super cool to her.  Jasper also got a note from Santa telling him that since he is now potty trained, he no longer needed his changing table.  Instead, Santa brought him his very own big boy desk complete with markers and coloring books.  Both kids were also so excited to see that Santa gave them each their own Kindle Fire (aka iPads).  Ayla's was pink and Jasper's was blue.

On Christmas morning, we traveled over to Fancy and Grand Dudes as well as Grandma Jody's house (soon to be Fancy and Grand Dude's home) and Grandma Shirley's house.  The kids stocked up on gifts and got in some excellent family time.
