Abe's 1st Thanksgiving

I remember only imagining the day that I would have my own baby to feed Thanksgiving food to!  Today my dreams came true.  Alya loved eating green beans and homemade noodles (she's officially one of us).  We stayed in Indianapolis for Thanksgiving Day and spent time with family at Fancy and Grand Dude's house.  Ali came in to town and it was so good to see her!  Ainsley and Landrey are getting so big.  Ainsley played with Ayla like she was a real live baby doll.  It was too cute.  We also got to see Chad and Angie.  I love it when they come into town and we get to catch up with them!  The day was too fast, but we had a great time.
On Black Friday we went to Salem.  We went down to hang with family and to purchase a new vehicle!  I'm so excited about it.  When we got to the dealership, they had the car ready and waiting for us to test drive it.  It was beautiful!  A Slate Gray, Charcoal Interior Ford Explorer.  We drove it around Salem and by the time we got back to the dealership, I had already pre-set my Sirius Radio Stations.  lol  We went in, signed the papers, and just like that we had a new vehicle!  The only downfall is that we have a small car payment again.  Blair and I were definitely used to being debt free except for our house.  We'll get back there soon.  But in the mean time - we're going to completely enjoy our new car!  We decided to call it "The Grey Goose".  While down in Salem, Teri fixed a Big Dog Thanksgiving Meal.  Delicious as always!  And then she and Bobby kept Ayla and KK so that Craig, Lesley, Blair, and I could go see a movie.  I can't remember the last movie we had seen in the theatres.  We went and saw Last Vegas.  A very good choice, and it was nice to have a date night.  The next day we drove home so that we could have a couple days at home before going back to work.  In only a few weeks I'll be on Christmas Break!  And that is something I absolutely cannot wait for!
