Spring Family Photos & Haley's Baby Shower

We woke up Saturday morning and headed down to Salem around 9:30.  It was a really good drive and we got there early enough to visit Nini at work.  Later that day, we hung out at home and enjoyed the outdoors.  Ayla loves to swing with her papaw!

All the flowers are so pretty down there right now!

The many faces of our silly Ayla while The Bubbster is napping - For some reason they always sleep so well when they are down in Salem!

Blair attempting to show Ayla how to pose for her pictures - silly weirdo!

Nini got some Ayla Time too!

When Bubby woke up, we rushed into some dressy outfits and went out to the Salem Museum to attempt family photos.  I took my tripod and Pappaw came to get the kids to both look at the camera at the same time.  They didn't turn out too bad in my opinion!

This is one of my favorites!

"Naked Ayla" can't resist playing on her Pappaw's tractor!

On Sunday afternoon, we went to Haley's baby shower where we ate yummy food and met Little Miss Caroline.  She's a doll baby and we had fun taking pictures of the kiddos.

After the shower, we ran over to Mary Beth and Brian's house.  Brian took us out to see the cows and Ayla had so much fun!  He knows how to get to her heart.  He drove right into a herd of cows and parked his truck.  Ayla could hang out the window and even go stand in the truck bed to look at the cows all around her.  She was in Cow Heaven!  On the drive back to their house, Brian let Ayla drive the truck in his lap.  She had so much fun steering all over the road and honking the horn.  - These are just some of the many perks to knowing farmers and having a daddy who is from the country.
