Ayla hated going to the ocean last year on vacation, but she watches home videos all the time of it and kept saying that she wanted to go to the ocean again, so we decided to book another trip and take Bub for his first trip to the ocean as well. Fancy and Grand Dude came along and we had a really good time! The trip was definitely too short, but fun to say the least.
We left early Saturday morning and drove all the way to North Carolina. We stayed in a hotel and let Ayla swim and play. We went to a yummy dinner and then got up the next morning to make the last let of our trip. We go to the beach around 3:00 and checked in to our condo on the ocean. It was beautiful and we relaxed for the entire 5 nights that we were there. We at dinners out, and dinners in, played at the beach and swam in the lazy river, kiddie pool, and regular pools. One night we went to the boardwalk and let Ayla ride rides after dinner.
The saddest part is that it was over before we realized it! I cannot wait to take the kiddos again next year and see what Japperoni thinks of the water next time!
