Super Hero Fun with the Coburn's

On a whim, the Coburn's came over to play outside for a little bit of fun.  Kids chose to dress as super heroes, swim in the the crab pool on our driveway, and drive around in our Barbie jeep.  We ordered pizza when it started to become dinner time, and it was such a good time to just play together at random.  We love our Team Coburn!

Mother's Day Weekend

We had a very busy Mother's Day weekend, but we loved every second of it!  Friday after school, Fancy, and both Grandma Jody and Shirley came over for a yummy dinner.  We had Alice Spring's Chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes for dinner.  And we had cream puffs with fruit and chocolate syrup for dessert.  Everyone thought dinner was delicious.  After dinner, we gave both grandmas a small flower that Ayla and Jasper picked out, and then we gave Fancy 4 ferns for under the carport at their "new" house in Franklin.
The next morning, we drove down to Salem to see Nini and spend some time with her.  We got her a gift certificate for a massage and she was happy to have all of her grand babies playing around the house for the day.  Blair and the kids gave me a gift certificate for a massage too!  It will feel great to relax and have some down time/peace and quiet for an hour at some point.  :-)
Sunday morning, we stayed in Salem for a while and had a late lunch at Christy's and then we headed back up to our house.  We stopped by Franklin to say Happy Mother's Day to Fancy and see the new trees that Grand Dude was putting in the backyard, had dinner, did baths, and then headed home.

Ayla's 1st Tee Ball Season

Ayla really enjoyed playing tee ball this year.  We weren't sure what she would think of it, but she absolutely loved it.  She was happy to go to every practice and game up until pretty much the last game.  Blair coached her team this year and it was fun to see how he did with 8 preschool kiddos at one time.  He handled it well and he's already talking about coaching during basketball season next!
