For the last weekend of my summer break, we all went down to Salem to celebrate Blair's birthday. The girls played together on Friday night, laughing and giggling up a storm. It was so cute to see them cracking up.

On Saturday morning, Blair and Junie went golfing. She sure is a spitfire! I'm not sure I know anyone else her age who can still hang with the young guys on the golf course!
While Blair was golfing, Nini, Ayla, and I went to the Salem park to play. It was super hot outside, so we didn't stay long, but man did Abe love going down the slide and swinging on the swing!
When we got back from the park, Ayla got to go down the see the horsies with her Pappaw. We thought she would love it, but she was almost scared to death to see a horse up close! Maybe next time she'll be more used to it.
Saturday evening, we went to dinner at a pizza place in Louisville and then went to walk across the river on the bridge that was just redone recently. It was really nice to relax after dinner and do something we had never done before!
