Ayla Blair & Jasper Paul: Easter 2015

Easter was super fun this year. Ayla was at a great age to enjoy all of it! Friday night I made Easter egg pancakes for dinner. They were really good! And it was something fun for Miss Thang. Saturday morning we got up bright and early and went to go see the Easter Bunny at the mall. Ayla way so completely excited to see him! She kept waving to him from the line. I was sure that she would scream at the top of her lungs when we got up to him, but she didn't! She jumped right up onto his lap and said, "Hi Easter Bunny!" She smiled so big for the camera, gave him a kiss on the cheek, a high five, and played Peek-A-Boo with him! When it was time to go, she hopped off of his lap and shouted, "I had fun!" It was hilarious. We woke up early Sunday morning to see if the Easter Bunny had come by our house, and boy did he! He hid 10 surprise eggs for Ayla to find and she did a great job finding them all. She stuffed her face with candy and covered her face with stickers each time she found a new egg. She even covered her sleeping father's face with some of the stickers too! We ate donuts for breakfast that Ayla picked out for us the night before and had an enjoyable morning. Sweet Bubby decided to sleep in until about 9:00 that morning, so he missed the festivities, but there is always next year! Later that day we wen to Fancy and Grand Dude's house for an Easter Brunch. Everything was delicious and Ayla hunted eggs all afternoon. Fancy showed up in her own bunny suit again this year and Ayla was so excited! She passed out gifts to the kids and walked around with Ayla for a little while. Ayla got her very own pair of roller skates, a helmet, and some sidewalk chalk. And Jasper got his own swing for the swing set in our backyard! The best part though, was when the neighbor boys spotted her and ran down to shoot her with their bow and arrows! Haha! She had to give them all hugs and let them pick up some of the eggs that were hidden in the grass. Simply hilarious! This holiday was another one for the books!
