Our Little Lady Bug

We finally decided what to make Ayla for Halloween...A Little Crawling Lady Bug!  Fancy helped me make the costume and it was so much fun.  I remember always hating it that my mom would make our costumes when we were little.  We always wanted store bought costumes because that's what everyone else had and they were always so cool!  Now I realize all the hard work, creativity, and time my mom put into each one of our costumes and I appreciate it so much more.  I really wanted to make Ayla's costume too, so she shared her expertise and helped me make it.  I love how it turned out!  Such a cute little lady bug.  :-)

This is the hat that Ayla is going to wear with her Lady Bug costume...she just loves it so much that she wants to wear it around the house all the time right now...silly girl.  Looks just like her daddy!

She's also big enough to eat wafers all by herself now!

Fancy cut our "pattern" out of one of Blair's Indiana Business Daily newspapers.

Grand Dude always loves to make Abe fly everywhere.  :-)

Adding the ribbon that will tie around her belly

Such a good Fancy.  Thanks to Great Grandma Jody for teaching my mom to sew!

Peek-a-Boo!

She loves to wave "hi" right now.

Baby Blues

She looks like a puppy dog eating the strings here!
