Fall Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to Salem this past weekend so that we could celebrate Haley's bridal shower.  The food was delicious and it was fun to meet some of Cody's family too.  Blair and I actually have Colts Season tickets right next to Cody's aunt and uncle.  So it was fun to meet his mom, grandma, and sister at the shower.  While we were home for the weekend we also went to the pumpkin patch.  I always say that we'll only go to the ones down in Salem because their pumpkins are cheaper and so much cooler than the one up in Indy.  I probably had more fun than anyone else, but it was great to give Miss Ayla the experience.  We got 5 pumpkins and I also bought 2 butternut squash and 3 sweet potatoes so that I could make Ayla more food.  Bobby brought home a pumpkin for Ayla too, so we headed home with our trunk full of goodies.  It was fun to hang out with the family and get Ayla and Kinsley together to play.  Kinsley loves holding Ayla and helping give her a bath.  We ate "Teri's Famous Pancakes and Homemade Pizza" while we were down.  I always gain weight while were down south!

Ayla had never been this close to a dog before.  She absolutely FREAKED out.  She wanted to see her, but she was too scared.  By the end of the weekend, she let Macy lick her face (I know that makes you proud Fancy).  And she also reached out and touched her.  But my absolute favorite part of this picture is that Blair has his shirt off like he's some macho man.  Haha!

The girls on our way to Haley's bridal shower

Linda always loves holding Miss Ayla

Carol wanted to say hi.  She gave Ayla a baby gift at the shower.  It was a silver fork, spoon, and knife with her name and birthdate engraved on them.  So sweet!

Shelley and Ayla

Ayla and Sherri had a good time at the shower

Kinsley helped feed Ayla bananas.

Kinsley and Ayla had fun playing on the floor.  Allie is the best babysitter ever!

Cheese!!!

Ayla's first rocking horse experience.  It's safe to say that she liked it.

We visited Great Grandma Mary after the shower was over.  She loved getting to see how big Abe is getting.

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

I took a few pictures of Dale's farm.  I love how pretty it is.

Yay pumpkin patch experience!

Ayla loves spending time with Nini and Pappaw

You can see him thinking....

And there it is.  Blair wanted me to take a picture of him for Fancy.

So many cool pumpkins to choose from.  But Ayla chose this one!

Here was our final selection!

Seriously adorable cutie.

They have honey bees to make fresh honey right at Cornucopia.

I think our wagon of pumpkins was bigger than Blair

I love getting family pictures!

Silly girls

I can't believe how big she's getting!

Has anyone seen Kinsley?

Kinsley couldn't wait for "Baby Ayla" to wake up from her nap.

A crawling machine!
