Monkey Ayla goes to Monkey Joe's

Fall Break is the best thing on earth.  I'm home with Ayla for 2 weeks!  This morning I put Ayla down for her morning nap.  When she woke up, I went in to get her and she was standing up holding onto her rail!  I about fell over.  It's a good thing I had my phone in my bathrobe pocket (yes, I didn't get dressed until noon today...awesome).  I snapped her picture so I could prove that she had done it. 

It seems like every single day she does something else new!  It was just the other day that she was learning to crawl, now she's pulling up onto things!  This afternoon I was in the kitchen getting dinner prepared and she was crying at my feet, holding onto my leg, and pulling herself up to a standing position.  When did this attitude show up?!

This evening, Fancy, Blair, and I took Ayla to Monkey Joe's.  My school was having a special night there, so we went to see people from my school and take Ayla for the first time.  I figured that since she's now crawling, there might be something there for her to do.  We took her into the "3 years and under" area.  She crawled around in a bounced house for a little bit and pulled up onto a couple toys.  Then it was time to go.  It was a good first experience overall!

It was a good trip overall!
