Today I got a text message from Miss Melissa that said, "So I lay Ayla down for her nap and she starts crying a few minutes later. So I walk over assuming she dropped her paci and she is sitting up!! Did she learn new tricks over the weekend?" Then she sent me a picture of her sitting up in her crib. She's such a silly little girl! She's been able to go from her belly, to her back, and then to a sitting position for about a week now, but I've never seen her sit up in her crib. It looks like we'll be needing to lower her crib to the bottom level soon!

Then I picked up Ayla from daycare this afternoon and told her to tell Miss Melissa and Miss Cheyenne goodbye. They waved to her and she actually waved back! It cracked me up! They waved again just to see if it was a fluke and she waved again. She's such a smarty pants!
