Happy Birthday Jasper Paul Huff! We couldn't have asked for a better party. It's crazy to think that he's already a year old! Jasper got to stay home from daycare on his actual birthday and spend the day with Fancy and Grand Dude. They took him to Toys' R Us and let him pick out a couple toys. He got a jumping dog and some balls (shocker!) :-) That night, we had Fancy, Grand Dude, and Ty-Ty come over for steaks, baked potatoes, and salad. We sang Happy Birthday and let him open a couple gifts. It was a fun evening!
Then Sunday, we threw him his big family birthday party. This was the fist party that many people were ever able to come to of either kid because Ayla's parties always have some sort of crazy winter storm on them! Jasper's party day called for a "Freezing Fog Warning" but that didn't stop the party! (I've never even heard of such a weird warning, but it doesn't surprise me that it could happen on one of my kids' party days!)
We had a puppy dog party for Jasper since that's the true love in his life right now. He loved every second of it. I decided to put up his decorations a few days early so he could look at them and he barked all week long! It was super cute. For the party we had hot dogs, mac 'n cheese, baked beans, some little snacks like pop corn and pretzels, and then of course the cake and smash cake. Everyone seemed to enjoy all the food and festivities and the cake too! Jasper got lots of wonderful toys and clothes and he sure seemed like a happy little one year old! Here's to another birthday year in the books!
