Today when I got Ayla home from daycare, I practiced crawling with her. She's not quite there yet, but she's almost got her knees under her body now and she's really good at pushing up all the way off the ground. Instead she did her usual flip from belly to back, but this time she surprised me by rolling back over to her belly again! I cheered for her and she smiled so big which encouraged her to do it 3 more times! At that point I started wondering how long she had been rolling like that, so I texted Miss Cheyenne and Miss Melissa. They said she had done it once the week before in her crib, but they were waiting for me to tell them. Such good ladies! Still giving me Ayla's moments even though she's at daycare now.
On the flip side to that, Ayla has started to throw some diva fits. The other day, Blair took his phone from Ayla because she was trying to eat it and she screeched at him like he was in big trouble. When he gave it back, she stopped. She did it like two other times that same day. So Blair is now trying to teach her that she can't always have everything she wants. It's hilarious to hear him have that talk with her. So much fun in our house right now!
