Possiblility of Possible Tubes in Miss Ayla's Ears

It seems like the Augmenten is not working on Ayla's ears.  She is still pulling at the right one.  So I decided to see if I could get her in for a quick appointment today.  They called back and had a 10:15 appointment, so we rushed over to the doctor to see what they had to say about her ears.  It turns out that this medicine is working, but working very slowly.  They said for her to keep taking it for the full 10 days.  And if it hadn't gotten rid of the ear infection, then they would send us over to ENT to discuss the possibility of tubes in Ayla's ears.  I guess they say that if a child has 3 or more infections within the first 4 years of their life, then they give them tubes.  Or if 3 medicines don't cut one infection, they go with tubes also.  They're counting this ear infection as 1 total infection because they don't think any of the medicines have ever completely gotten rid of it.  So we'll see what she feels like this coming Thursday!
