6 Months Old

Ayla is such a good little girl.  She is always so happy!  She's got a great sense of humor, she's patient with others, and very empathetic.  She makes me the happiest person in the world!  At 6 months she Can/Is:
  • Weighs 16.11 pounds
  • Sit up
  • Put her feet in her mouth
  • Whine with attitude
  • Put everything on top of her head
  • Roll from side to side
  • Play with her hair (the little that she has)
  • Make an “S” sound
  • Loves looking at books
  • Cries when she hears others cry
  • Eating vegetables
  • Play with my hair when I nurse her
  • Bounce like crazy in her jump-a-roo
  • Take her binky in and out of her mouth
  • Starting to blow raspberries
  • Push herself over from belly to back in her crib
  • Squeal back when you squeal at her
  • Play Peek-a-boo
  • Starting to recognize her name being said
  • Had her first ear ache
  • Knows when you put her in the high-chair that it’s time to eat
  • Starting to understand that it is a reflection in the mirror instead of someone else (she looks at the mirror and then she looks right at me, and then back at the mirror)
  • As soon as you get out of the car, she looks for you to open her door and get her – then she grins really big at you
  • Trying to walk everywhere (if you hold her hands, she will walk)
  • Starting to look where you point
  • Beginning to recognize her name
  • Loves it when you clap for her
  • Gurgle her milk in her mouth
