Our 5 Year Anniversary

This past weekend we went to French Lick for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Ayla got to stay the night with her Nini and Pappaw. She had so much fun hanging out with her Aunt Lesley and Cousin KK too! We went to the French Lick Winery and did some wine tasting. I bought 2 bottles of their wine which is always so good. I love their Merlot. And this time I decided to try a brandy infused wine that's a dessert liquor for after dinner. I think we'll try it after Blair's birthday dinner at home this week. After the winery, we checked into our hotel. They upgraded us to a suite and it was so beautiful! There was a chilled bottle of chardonnay waiting in our room along with a cheese, fruit, and cracker tray for us to share. We had some and then went down to the hot tub to have a drink and relax. Then we went back to our room to get ready for dinner. We had 7:30 reservations at Sinclair's. I got a seafood soup and Blair got their prime rib. We had planned on going out to the French Lick Casio afterward, but when we got back up to our room to change, we decided that nothing sounded better than to go to sleep early! We got a solid 10 hours of sleep and it felt great. I guess we're getting old too quickly! :-) We went to breakfast in the morning before heading back to see our baby girl. It was so good as well! Blair had his usual scrambled eggs and bacon, and I had an egg white omlet with everything in it! Their fresh fruit was delicious and so was their coffee.
We couldn't wait to get home to see Miss Ayla. We found out that she slept all through the night for Nini and Pappaw and she was a happy girl! On Sunday we went swimming at Aunt Mary Beth's house for a little while. We celebrated Blair's 33rd birthday that night with homemade pizzas. Yum! We always say Teri should open up her own pizza restaurant. We just can't decide the name - Mamma Teri's or Nini's Pizza. :-)
