Well we reached a new low today when taking Miss Thang on a walk this evening. It was sprinkling the tiniest bit, but we decided to try and get in a quick walk anyway. We had a blanket over Ayla and she had a roof over her head in the stroller. What's the worst that could happen just doing a quick loop in the neighborhood and behind our house? Well it began raining a little bit harder about 1/2 way through the walk so we ran under a tree for a few minutes. When it stopped raining we began to finish our walk. When we were almost home it started to pour down raining and it began to lightening too. So rather than push Ayla through the rain we went inside a house under construction. I'm talking monsoon weather outside and we stood inside the skeleton of this home for probably 30 minutes while it thundered and lightening all around us. Finally when it died down enough, we took off and headed back to the house. Way to go parents!
