A Ball State Graduate & A Dinner for Heroes

Today Tyler graduated college from Ball State University.  We’re so proud of him!  Now Chad, Tyler, and I have all graduated college from there.  We decided to take The Grey Goose up to Muncie to see him walk.  It was awesome!  The vehicle fit Tyler, Fancy, Grand Dude, Blair, Ayla, and me all comfortably plus everything we needed to take with us.  It was snowing really badly that morning, and when I went to get Ayla out of bed, she had thrown up all over herself, but we all piled in anyway and made the trek up to good ol’ Muncie, Indiana.  She didn’t act sick at all, so we figured it was probably just something she had eaten the night before.  When we got there we met Chad who came over from Ohio to see Ty as well.  After he graduated, we all went out to Outback Steakhouse for lunch and enjoyed some family time together.

Then we rushed home because Nini, Pappaw, and KK were coming up to watch Ayla for the night so Blair and I could go to a Saving Our Heroes Benefit.  The Pacers put on a show and we donated to a family in need; we had wine, beer, and desert, and enjoyed some time with friends and Blair’s colleagues.  Throughout the evening, I started to feel sick.  When we got home that night, I threw up too!  I felt better afterward, but it definitely wasn’t fun!  The next morning, I found out that my mom and gotten sick throughout the night as well.  Then, Blair, Grand Dude, Nini, and Pappaw got sick.  It was all a 24 hour bug, but we eventually realized that Ol’ Abe was the culprit.  What a sweetheart!  ;-)

Ready to watch Uncle X take the "big walk"

I don't know how the heck we found him waiting in line, but we did!  And we took advantage of it too!
