Halcomb Christmas Celebration 2013

Everyone came to my mom and dad’s house for the Halcomb Christmas this year.  We had good food, good drinks, and fun conversation.  It was great to get Paiton and Ayla together again so that they could play together.  They did much better this time compared to the last time they were together.  This time, they just kept trying to take toys from each other and it was actually really cute.  Both girls got to open their first Christmas presents too.  Ayla got a book and an outfit from Great Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Yance.  The book was special because it’s one all of us grandkids used to play with at their house when we were little.  I love when old traditions and memories get passed on to new babies.  And Aunt Kathy (Jake in the grab bag) got Ayla a couple pairs of adorable pajamas and 2 really cute outfits.  Ayla pulled at the bows and ripped through the paper.  She did better than I thought she would to be honest!  This is just the start to an exciting first holiday season!  On to Salem we go!!

Fancy couldn't wait to let Ayla try the Vienna Sausages that I used to eat when I was a baby...

I had to read the label before I let her try one.  Still not sure what's in them, but she sure did like them!
