5 Months Old

She's done it again Folks - She's grown another month older right before my very eyes.  Parent's aren't exaggerating when they say that kids grow up before you know it.  She's almost 1/2 a year old already!  She makes me prouder every day.  At 5 Months Ayla, Is/Can/Does:

• Helping others feed her with a spoon
• Laughing out loud all the time
• Rolling onto her side
• Starting to Reach out for others
• Weighs 15.5 pounds
• Chew on EVERYTHING
• Sleeps though the night (except for crying for her binky at 4:45 am)
• Practicing walking when people hold you up
• Loves getting her back scratched
• Grabs at your nose, eyes, and cheeks
• Has the biggest “gummy” smile
• A wiggle worm on the changing table
• Reaches and grabs for everything – And can get it too!
• Smiles when she toots!
• Starting to growl at people
• Loves Miss Cheyenne & Miss Melissa at Daycare
• Gets SO excited each time her daddy walks into the room
• Babbles in a whisper voice sometimes
• Will take a 2 ½ hour nap in the middle of the afternoon
• Likes getting her ears cleaned out with a Q-tip after bath time
• Gets her gums brushed with the washcloth at bath time
• Very patient
• Turns her head to see where a sounds is coming from
• Watches to see how things work
• Starting to have ticklish feet
• Such an incredibly sweet little girl

I love how her little back sticks out of this outfit.  It's a special one because Grandma Jody made this outfit for me when I was a baby!
