It's hard to believe that our baby boy is already this big. He seems to have grown so much this past month. Jasper is still the sweetest and most laid back little boy we have ever come in contact with. Everyone who sees him takes notice of his smile and relaxed nature. It is exciting that we will get to continue watching this sweet little miracle of a boy, grow each and every day.
Jasper can/does:
- Weighs 16 pounds, 11 ounces
- Roll across the entire room
- Sit Up without any assistance to keep him sitting up
- Is beginning to push up onto his knees from his belly into the crawling position (I bet he's crawling within the next couple weeks)
- Stands up with support.
- Likes to bounce up and down on his legs like he's dancing
- Blows raspberries at you and then smiles
- Can say, "Da-Da" and "Ba-Ba"
- Likes putting his fists up to his mouth to make the "ba-ba" sound all by himself
- Waves bye-bye
- Laughs so hard when you tickle him and when you make an elephant sound
- Sleeps through the night - 8:15ish to 7:00 or 7:30 if you don't have to wake him up for daycare
- Loves getting a bath and splashing in the water
- Eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner with us and also takes 3-5 ounce bottles each day at daycare
- Still has a really bad cough. It gets worse at night and I've gotten him looked at a ridiculous amount of times. The doctors are never concerned and they say that it's possible that his acid reflux could be causing him to cough. I hope he gets over it soon!
- Still takes Zantac for reflux
- Likes to hold his own sippy cup of water to drink - he's doesn't quite have it figured out yet, but he likes gnawing on the spout
- Loves Ayla to pieces - she can make him laugh harder than anyone
