Going back to work after 8 months on a maternity leave has definitely been an adjustment. But we couldn't ask for a better daycare provider for our kiddos. Ayla has really taken on the big sister role while she's there - checking in on Jasper usually once a day. Ayla loves her new class (The Sparrows). Ms. Kathy moved up with the kids and they lover her so much. And Ms. Brenda really enjoys what she does. Ayla likes her a lot! And Jasper is noted as "the favorite" in his class (Tiny Turtles). They always talk about how sweet and happy he is. Ms. Lindsy calls him her little spider monkey because he's always clinging to her. It's really cute how he wraps his legs completely around you so that you won't let him go. The kids are good, daycare is great, and I'm adjusting back to the world of teaching 4th graders. And so life continues!

| Of course after the 2nd full week of school, Jasper came down with a fever and threw up at daycare. So Blair, Fancy, and I rallied together and took half days to take care of him. On the day that Fancy was home with him, she let him play with all of the things Ayla usually keeps away from him - including her Frozen Chair. He's seems pretty happy! |
