Jasper 15 Months

He just gets bigger and bigger, I realize, every time I stop to watch something new he can do.  I never knew I could have such a patient, sweet, and opinionated little boy all at the same time.  He is always complimented for his white/blonde hair and his sweet disposition.  And I thank God every night that he became mine.  That he was healthy enough to leave the NICU in such a short time and that I've gotten such precious time with this little boy.  At 15 months, Jasper can/is/does:

• Sits at the kitchen table with us in a booster seat
• Only wants to feed himself - If you even touch his fork, he throws a complete melt-down fit
• Likes to mimic his sister when she acts silly
• Laughs when other people laugh
• Says "Please", "More", and "All Done" in sign language
• Starting to tell you when he goes boo-boo in his diaper
• Still such a wonderful sleeper - He would sleep until 8:30 or 9:30 every morning if you would let him - going to sleep around 8:00 every night
• Lets you lay him down in his crib and he will go right to sleep 99% of the time
• States all members of his family one by one
• Enjoys walking around the house shouting, "Ma Ma!"
• Every time it's time to brush his teeth, he grabs Ayla's toothbrush and makes sure she has hers before he will brush his
• Loves to dance
• Favorite food is yogurt, and it seems that chocolate is a close second
• Very ticklish - and his belly laugh is the most hilarious thing I've ever heard
• Can throw a mean fit if he wants to - He will throw himself backward until he falls over and bangs his head and then looks at you
• Knows how to climb the stairs
• Will not eat McDonald's, Taco Bell, Fried Chicken, Pizza (most of the time) - Never heard of a child like this!
• Favorite book/song right now is "The Itsy, Bitsy Spider"
• Pays attention to how words are said and tries his best to repeat them
• Follows 1 and sometimes 2 step directions
• Enjoys saying the dinner prayer each night
• Still gets very bad coughs and we've had to administer the nebulizer a few times.  Most of the time he will just sit there for you to give it to him now.
• Tells you, "Snack", "NoNo", "Sissy", "Book", "Ding Dong" (for the clock or his private area haha), "Puppy Dog", "All Done", "More", "Bye Bye", "Ayla", "Night Night", "Bath", "Down", "Elmo", "Big Bird", "Basketball", "milk", and many more
• Knows the sounds for puppy dog, elephant, monkey, kitty cat, lion, cow, fishy
• Loves giving people hugs
• Pats his sissy when she is crying or gives her hugs and she instantly stops crying
• Likes to hang on your leg and hug on you while you're standing up
• Is cutting probably 6 teeth currently

I'm sure I'm forgetting a billions adorable things Bub can do.  He's just such an absolute joy to have in our family and I pray that God allows us to watch him grow into an amazing man one day.
