- Weighs 34 pounds and is 3 feet, 3 inches tall
- Loves to pretend play
- Still loves babies
- Started to say she wants to be a teacher like me
- Always wants to take care of her brother
- Enjoys following her bedtime routine nightly
- Starting to read stories on her own by picture reading
- Loves to sing Joy Joy Down in my Heart, Bringing Home my Baby Bumble Bee, Jesus Loves Me,
- Still loves snacks, yogurt, and chocolate
- Starting to drink out of a big girl cup with no lid
- Sits at the dinner table with us like a big girl with no booster seat
- Likes to eat broccoli (who knew) and salad without any dressing
- Plays like she is stealing your seat every time you get up to do something
- Beginning to like to watch movies (Fox and The Hound is her favorite right now)
- Stays in her bed like a big girl all night unless she needs to go potty - sometimes we have to threaten to lock her door if she doesn't stop whining, but it's much better than it used to be!
- Likes people to see (her moves) so we're planning to sign her up for gymnastics
- Has started saying, "Hey! I've got a surprise for you!" with her hands behind her back. When you ask what it is, she will pull a booger out from behind her back - and it is SICK! So, we're working on that one

Ayla is 3 Years Old!
Ayla continues to be such an interesting and energetic child constantly! She keeps us on our toes and makes us crack up laughing daily. Just the other day, I was talking with Blair and we said that we couldn't believe that she used to be a baby. She seems so grown up and mature, but a total emotional girl at the same time!
