Oh our little Miss Ayla is already 2 ½ years old. She’s growing up so quickly. Just the other day, Blair and I were talking
about how we need to be careful of what we expect of her at times. She speaks so well and understands so much
that it’s easy to forget that her maturity level is still only at a two year
old level. Boy is she cute and almost
every time we are out somewhere with her, people ask us if we’ve ever heard of Shirley
Temple because she looks so much like her.
Fancy has taught Ayla how to sing “On the Good Ship Lollypop” just o
amuse people after they ask us. At 2 ½ years
old, Miss Ayla Blair:
- Weighs ____________ pounds, and is _______________ inches tall
- Loves to Sing – Educational Songs, Nursery Songs, Bible Worship Songs, etc.
- Does a hilarious, devious growing laugh when she’s excited about something
- Likes to tell people what to do
- Is exhaustingly stubborn
- Loves to rough up her bubby
- Wants you to lay with her every night as she goes to sleep and sing songs, say prayers, pat her back, and “lay pillow”
- Climbs onto the toilet all by herself to go to the bathroom, and tells you to wait outside the door so she can try to wipe herself too
- Is still obsessed with yogurt – she says, “It’s my FAVORITE food!”
- Can throw a seriously mean fit when she wants to
- Is working on brushing her teeth all by herself
- Knows all her colors
- Loves School
- Still loves to take care of her baby dolls and cook in her kitchen
- Continues to get a light in her eyes when she dumps something to create an entire mess (She’s going to drive me crazy with this one)
- Has got one heck of a compassionate side when it comes to her baby brother
- Knows what she wants, when she wants it (she may or may not take after me) J
- Has tried a KinderMusik class, but we’re pretty sure it’s not her thing – we need to see what she thinks about gymnastics next. It’s time we teach her how to use all of that crazy energy she has! Jumping off the couches, steps, and coffee tables is not an option!
- Is such a smart and silly little girl
