This weekend we went home to celebrate Nini's birthday. We hopped in the car as early as we could after Blair got home from work on Friday evening and made it to Salem about 7:15. It was nice to be home and see the family for the weekend! KK and Ayla played like silly girl cousins all weekend long and took baths together in Nini and Pappaw's whirlpool tub. Kinsley loved holding Jasper and I know she would be a wonderful big sister if she ever had to be! ;-) Saturday night we went out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse. It was delicious and the family passed around little sweet Jasper so that we could enjoy our meals. Saturday night Mr. Man slept a full 10 hour stretch! It was amazing to have some much needed rest. Sunday morning, we made it to church and then went out to Shelley and Allie's house to see Allie's new baby chicks. Ayla got to pet one and she even gave one a kiss! We planned to leave around 2:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, but Bubby decided to take a 3 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon as well! We left Salem about 7:30 on Sunday night, got the kiddos in bed when we got home and watched an episode of The Walking Dead in bed before going to sleep. It was a lovely weekend!
