Ayla is 16 Months Old
It's absolutely wild how many things a kid can learn in a month. She's like a tiny sponge. She knows so many things and she's such a friendly little girl. She loves everyone and likes to make you laugh. I love our little Miss Ayla Blair so incredibly much! At 16 months, Ayla is/can/does:
- Saying her first sentence, "I got it."
- Gives amazing hugs and kisses
- Knows how to open doors with handles
- Likes to be in on the joke - will crack up laughing really loudly if you do - even if she has no idea why she's laughing
- Cut a 7th tooth - bottom/right, just next to her middle tooth
- Hair is starting to get longer, and blonder!
- Knows to go up the stairs when she has dirtied her diaper
- Gives kisses and hugs goodbye to anyone who asks
- Loves to give you hugs and kisses for no reason at all
- Finds her belly button
- Points to my belly and says "Baby"
- Says "Love You"
- Likes to dance
- Knows where the trash can is and will throw stuff away if you tell her
- Will follow simple requests that you give her - She'll help clean up her books if you ask her to help you, she'll take something to someone for you, etc.
- Is starting to sing The Alphabet
- Knows several animal sounds - dog, snake, pig, sheep, fish, cow, monkey, bear, lion
- Requests to have her boppy pillow in her bed as a pillow to sleep on now. Looks like she's getting ready for that "big girl bed"
