4th of July Weekend

4th of July weekend was nice and very tiring!  We were home together and we got everything ready for the All American Dinner party we had at our house with Mike, Rebekah, Trey, Andrew, Laura, and Will.  Of course the ONE day Ayla went to daycare this week, she picked up hand foot mouth (I'm guessing) again.  She started running a fever the night before the 4th.  I wasn't sure if it was just teething though either.  She was very clingy the day of the 4th which made me sad because the 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday!  And I was worried about inviting kids over to our house.  But we decided to anyway because we weren't positive that the virus is what she really had AGAIN.  Dinner was nice and relaxing and the fireworks show was pretty cool - for kids.  We did lots of snakes, sparklers, snap pops, and even a "pooping dog".  Ayla has become obsessed with snap pops though which was really fun to see her enjoy.  The next day Nini and Pappaw came up for a visit, and Ayla started to get a horrible rash.  Her mouth had blisters all over it and so did the bottom of her feet, hands, as well as around her legs and arms.  We knew at that point she definitely had hand, foot, mouth.  So I let Rebekah and Laura know and we really hope their kids don't get it!  Teri went shopping with me to look for a new big girl bed for Ayla's new room when we move her, and we found one we really liked.  So the next day, Blair, Ayla, and I went to look at it, and buy it.  I'm really excited to be getting her room done before I go back to school so it's one less thing I have to worry about.  And I can take the time to enjoy decorating it that I really want to!  She's such a big girl now and I know she'll be a great big sister this time next year!

Ayla helped Blair mow the lawn on the 4th of July.  She still isn't feeling very well, so she wasn't letting anyone put her down.

Baby Will looks just like his daddy!

He was so happy the entire time he was in the pool - and I'm talking like 1 1/2 hours!

Ayla joined the party but played mostly at the water table

A quick game of peek-a-boo is always a good time too.  :-)

Trey took a long nap and then finally joined the kidos as well

Love my girl!
