Jasper Turns 2 1/2

Jasper had his 2 1/2 birthday on National Doughnut Day this year!  It was perfect since we planned to go to the local doughnut shop that morning to get him a doughnut of his choice.  He picked a pink, sparkle doughnut (same as Ayla) and we enjoyed them outside at a patio table.  Jack's Doughnuts is definitely a yummy place to eat!  Jasper has such personality these days.  At age 2 1/2, Jasper

• He is constantly talking and always observant.  
• He loves to pretend play with Ayla and also try to get her attention by hitting, kicking, and then running away.  
• Today, for Jasper's big day, we talked about how the rules change and now he has to go to sleep by himself instead of having Mom or Dad sit by his bed until he falls asleep.  He took it like a champ and has made me proud/sappy.
• Jasper loves to dance (he has some moves)
• Loves to eat lasagna, spaghetti, and salad
• I think he might be allergic to grass - he played in a slip 'n slide for the first time the other day and has had welts from it for several days now.
• He has a great sense of humor - i think he has my same kind because we can look at each other and crack up laughing about the littlest things
• He's extremely ticklish
• He is very particular - loves everything to be exactly the way it was before 
• He has a great memory - he can retell something exactly the way it was told to him

He has the ability to make a room crack up laughing, and I can't wait to see what the 2nd half of his 2's bring him.  :-)
