This was really the first time that it sort of hit me hard that my little girl was growing up in an "educational" way. I was lucky enough to make it to her end of the year classroom party in which she was spending her last day with Miss Brenda and Miss Kathy. And we LOVED them. It was fun to watch the kids interact and receive recognition for graduation. Then the next evening, I found myself on the other end of the table of a "Back to School Night" presentation. I heard how Ayla was now in preschool, that she would have a job to do each week, that she might have homework, etc. And it sent me into a bit of a panic mode for a second! I saw nights like this in a whole new light. Our little girl is growing up! She is really starting school!
