Jasper is 1 1/2 Years Old!

This little boy of ours has just really shown his personality in the past couple months. He is totally his own person and we love him so much!

• Weighs 25.5 pounds and is ____ inches tall
• Wears a size 6 shoe
• Likes to sleep about 11 hours a night
• Has white blonde hair that we are currently growing out to see what it will look like
• Loves to sing "This Little Light of Mine" and "If You're Happy and you Know It"
• Says the "amen" at the dinner table with his sissy
• Cracks up laughing when he hears other people laughing about something
• Mostly enjoys brushing his teeth
• Has started his first swimming lessons and is enjoying them!
• Still takes 2 naps per day if he has to get up early for daycare
• Loves to eat!
• Can say anything you tell him to say
• Likes dogs
• Is really starting to love reading books - his favorites are Mr. Brown, Oh David, 100 First Words book, any Sesame Street book
• Likes to see if he can get his sissy upset (and it's hilarious to see the look on his face when he gets her going)
• Is really working on singing all of his ABCs
• Absolutely loves his blanky and binky
• Wants to use a fork and spoon at dinner every night
• Still gets really bad coughs pretty often and so we use a humidifier on his room every night
• Hates getting his nose sucked out
• When he finishes a task lately, he will wipe his hands together as if to signify that he's all done and moving onto something else
• Loves watching Elmo
• Does not like to get his hands dirty which is hilarious - he has to use like 3 napkins each night at dinner
• Always wants to be outside
• Still has very soft and sensitive skin
• Likes wrestling with Ayla and Daddy
• Likes to give hugs and kisses to people
• Will randomly say "hi" to people out in public
• Enjoys daycare and all of his friends and teachers there
• Loves bath time
• Favorite foods are yogurt, applesauce, spaghetti, lasagna, tacos, squeezes, milk
• Has almost all of his teeth now
• Loves to be tickled
• Said his first sentence, "Bye Bye Daddy"
• Loves to eat salad, hummus, kale burgers - he's definitely my boy
• Each night at bed time he asks for me to sing him songs. It's adorable.

Jasper is so darn cute and still has the best laugh I have ever heard. I have loved watching him learn and grow so far. He's going to be such a smart little boy and I can't wait to spend the rest of this summer with him!

To celebrate his 1/2 birthday, we took a trip to Meijer for donuts.  When we got there, we realized that all of the seating in the bakery had been torn out due to construction, so we improvised be opening the back of our Explorer and watching the construction vehicles work instead!  They had a great time!
