This little girl is just the greatest I tell ya. She's got such personality and her brain is like a sponge. It's incredible to watch her soak up all sorts of knowledge and use it in her very own way. Fancy said the other night, "You don't know this yet, but this is her personality for life. She knows what she wants, and she is determined to get it. She's always going to be this way." It's so funny to think that she will really be this same person as a teen, and a young woman one day.
Right now - Ayla is:
Starting to say 2 and 3 word sentences (I go boo-boo, I got potty, I'm stuck!, I go night night, I did it!)
Telling you when she's hungry
Sleeping in her new room, in her big girl bed
Constantly trying to jump off of things
Climbing into chairs and saying "I Big!"
Wanting to brush her teeth on her own instead of having someone help her
Telling the world "Hi!" no matter who it is
Reminding her new daycare girl, Miss Rachel, to put powder on her bottom
Likes to sing her ABC's, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, and If You're Happy and You Know It
Now obsessed with Big Bird and Snuffy
Starting to throw some fake fits

| Love their facial expressions |
 |
| Ally Mac and I took our girls to AppleWorks on a Sunday afternoon and loved watching them interact. They had such a blast! |
 |
| This picture completely describes her personality and all at this point in her life |
 |
| Such personality! |
 |
| I wonder if she will always want to pick up the biggest thing around her |
 |
| The neighbors had an old wheel barrow Ayla's size, and so they gave it to her. So nice! |

| One day over Fall Break, I let Ayla try her hand at Play-Dough. She really liked it! She would say "Push!" and smush down the play-dough, then we would cut out a character with a cookie cutter. Not a bad idea! |
 |
| Ayla started her first swim class over Fall Break as well! We found a cheap 8 class session for $40 and she could not wait to get in the water and go down the slides. She was a little leery in the water at first, but after she got to jump off the edge to me, she was very happy. We've got 7 more sessions and I hope she likes them just as much, if not more! |
 |
| She just had to take a picture by the pumpkin |
 |
| Wasn't quite sure about the noodle at first, but toward the end, she was getting used to it. |
 |
| Loved jumping off the edge! |
 |
| At the very end of class, we were allowed to take our kids down the slide if they wanted to go. Ayla marched her little self right up the steps (with my help) and went down the slide all by herself. I couldn't believe it! Mara caught her at the end, and then she started to cry for me. Regardless, I was so proud of her for going down on her own! And for being so patient to wait for the slide until the very end of class. Such a good little girl. |
