Ayla Blair & Jasper Paul: Bubby is 4 Months Old

It's so hard to believe that Bubby is already 4 months old. His life here on earth feels like it's flying by! I was almost done with my maternity leave with Ayla at this point, and I'm only half way done with his. It's a good thing too because I feel like I've hardly gotten to do anything with him yet! This summer is going to be a blast with him though and I know that for sure! This past month Jasper has really started to show his personality more. He's a very laid back little boy who loves to watch what's going on around him. He's pretty patient for the most part, and he's becoming a much better sleeper (thank goodness!) at 4 months, Mr. Japper:

Weighs 12 pounds, 14 ounces
24 inches long
Still wakes up twice a night to feed, but now he'll nurse for about 20 minutes and then go right back to sleep
I've realized that when he decides to do something -- he wastes no time in doing it! (He wanted to get better in the NICU, so he did immediately!, He wanted to start sleeping better, so he did)
Loves to hold your hands - he wants you to hold his hands for him to fall asleep too
Is a major cuddle bug - I love how he just lays his cheek on my cheek and hangs out
Is mesmerized by his big sister - she really makes him smile
Loves to talk to you any time you will listen!
Has figured out where his bedroom door is - when he wakes up and you go in to get him, his neck is always arched watching for you to come get him (smarty)
Loves his binky
Has found his hands! He holds them together like he's praying and then sucks on them all the time
Is beginning to grasp objects and hold on to them - he loves the little orange ball with holes in it that's easy for his fingers to grip
Doesn't like tummy time
Takes 1.5 ml of his zantac for reflux
Is beginning to laugh
Is ticklish! His neck and ribs make him giggle a little bit
Is starting to have a conversation with you. It's completely adorable
