How in the world did he get so big, so fast? He can hold up his head and he's very interested in playing in the exersaucer. It's good for his leg strength too, since he doesn't seem to care about standing up! Love this little boy to pieces!

Photo Dump of The Bubbs
Just look at this sweet little boy! We love everything about him. He's honestly the most calm, happy little kid. I thought Ayla was easy, but I'm starting to think that he might be easier! The only area that he's difficult is his sleeping, and we're getting it figured out. Could it be that we've gotten another amazing kiddo!?

Happy to say that I've got on make-up and a sweet boy in my arms! This is what maternity leave is all about |

Becoming more social! I took this picture right before he completely blew out of it. It reminded me of something his sister used to do all the time! |
What Has Ayla Hoo Been Up To??
This girl never slows down I tell ya. There is never a dull moment with Miss Ayla around! Lately she has been up to so much. If I don't get it all down soon, I'm going to forget it all!
For 4 days Ayla had a horrible fever. When it finally reached 105 degrees I called the doctor and got her a late night appointment. We got there and they could find nothing wrong with her. The said that if the fever was still that high through the weekend to call back and they would call her in something for it. But that she was fine otherwise. At one point, they asked to have her go potty to check for a urinary infection. I was worried that she might not go because she had just gone when we got there. But they bribed her with some of Dr. Ciaccio's cookies and she did great! These are the pictures I took of her eating the cookies to show Megan. She keeps it interesting I tell ya! By the weekend her fever was gone!
Playing around with Daddy's hat and eating a snack. This is a common look on our Miss Ayla lately!
She wanted to wear this shirt one day. I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was Jasper's winter coat. :-)
Lately Ayla has been wanting to go potty "All Of Myself". She will go into her bathroom, pull down her panties, step up on a stool, hop onto the "Big Girl Potty", scoot back onto it and go. (Half the time she remembers to wipe, most the time, she never flushes, and she hasn't quite figured out how to pull up her pants again yet). One morning, Ayla said she wanted to go to the bathroom, so I let her run off without me. While she was gone, Bubbs started to fuss. Then he stopped. I looked onto the monitor to check on him and the following is what I saw! Yes - that's Miss Ayla in his crib, with no panties on, kissing and hugging her little brother. I watched her proceed to climb up to the top ledge of the crib and jump down like a sky diver. The next thing I knew, she was next to me saying, "Mommy, Bubby's awake."
We finally went into my school to show off Mr. Jasper. The kids were so excited and it was great to see lots of the staff. We popped into Jess Johnson's room to say hi. Ayla completely loves her and it happened to be her last day before going on maternity leave with Baby Reece. She was in the middle of giving whole class instruction on a math game. Immediately Ayla sat down among the group of students and put her hands in her lap. She listened to Jess. And then Jess put her in a group. Ayla quickly got up and joined the group. It was hilarious! I loved watching her in a class setting. You can tell she goes to daycare and that they do great things with her there! I couldn't help but snap a photo.

Among other weird things Ayla is doing lately:
- She won't stay in her bed to sleep at night. She wakes up to go potty, then we take her back to her bed and pretty soon after, she's up again. We either fight it and keep putting her back in her bed, or we let her sleep with us
- She's 100% potty trained now! Big girl!
- Sings Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, ABCs, Row, Row, Row your Boat, Silent Night, etc.
- Counts to 15
- Likes to like Jasper
- Loves to give kisses and big hugs

Salem for Pappaw Bob's Birthday
We spent the weekend in Salem for Bobby's birthday and it was wonderful. We got down there Friday night and Ayla and KK played like crazy cousins. Bubby wouldn't sleep in his pack 'n play, so I ended up holding him all night long (not sure what that was about).
Saturday morning, we got up and went to visit Great Grandma Mary. She's always so happy to see the kids. I honestly never see her smile more! She likes to give Ayla all the cookies she wants and bounce Jasper up and down. I'm so glad that they took a good picture with her.
Blair bounced Ayla like this for a while just because she's always doing something wild these days :-) |
Creep attempt to change out Jasper's head onto this photo - Blair noticed immediately, but I can't delete it now that I spent so much time on it! hehe |
Saturday afternoon, Blair took Bobby golfing for his birthday and I put the kids down for naps. After they finished golfing, we met at the cemetery to say hi to Great Grandpas Dale and Poppee. We miss them so much and we always wish that the kids had gotten a chance to meet them. But we'll just keep talking about them and I'm sure they'll all get a chance to meet in heaven one day.
After visiting Dale and Poppee, we drove out to the cemetery where Jasper Voyles was buried. This is Blair's great, great grandpa who Jasper is named after. The cemetery was way back in the country and it was completely beautiful! It was special to go see a part of history like this in my opinion.
The cemetery is small and completely surrounded by this gorgeous rock wall |
I love this iron gate |
It was adorable walking behind Bobby and watching Ayla rub his hair |
Saturday night, we had steaks at home. It was delicious as always and I got some cute pictures of Ayla on Blair's old John Deere tractor.
Happy Birthday Pappaw! |
I think this is so cute |
