Fancy had been wanting to take Jasper to the "Touch a Truck" event in town for quite some time, but we could never seem to make it work. We lucked out when tickets were free and the event was held right by our house, so we took advantage and headed out! The kids were able to climb into all sorts of construction vehicles, service vehicles, etc. and they had such a fun time. They got suckers, construction hats, to see dress up characters, etc. Jasper will be talking about this event for some time, and I'll have to make sure we watch for the next time the event is held!
A family of 4 who is excited to share our daily lives with family near and far. Documenting memories big and small to be forever remembered!

A Few Summer Randoms
![]() |
The kids love making beds out of their couches. Today they held mine and Chad's old care bears and put them to sleep as well. It wouldn't have been right to not take a picture! |

Close up with the elephants at the zoo! |

Ayla was invited to a splash pad birthday party for one of her tee-ball buddies Harrison. They had such a good time! |

This day we helped Tyler pick out new furniture for his and Chelsey's soon to be house. The kids were in cute/happy moods, so I snapped a pic |

Marion County Fair Experience
We took the kids to the Marion County Fair tonight and the kids had such a good time! But I tell ya what, it sure is EXPENSIVE!! We ran into some of Ayla and Jasper's daycare buddies and t-ball teammates and walked around with them for a while. We rode rides until we were sick to our stomachs, and Ayla discovered her love for corn dogs! It was such a fun family night.

A Great Summer Day
This summer day was full of adventure. It started off in the morning with Ayla's eye doctor appointment. The last time we took her, the doctor said that if she were in kindergarten, he may have her in glasses because her right eye seemed a little off. But that we would keep watching her. I was anxious to hear what he would say at the day's appointment. He said that it seemed to be correcting itself slightly, but that we would watch it again the following year and decide what to do before kindergarten. We will wait to see if we have a little 4 eyes going into her school years! After the appointments, we came home and made rice krispy treats, because, why not?! We're on summer break! And then after naps, we paid a visit to the Franklin Road library for some of the Pacers to read a couple books to the kids. They absolutely loved this! They saw Boomer up close and got to win a few prizes. I heart summer break and making memories with these babies!

Swimming with Team Coburn
Ayla and Jasper absolutely love their Coburn buddies Vivi and Austin. It was such a good time to get together on a random week day to go swimming at our neighborhood pool. The kids always laugh so hard when the are together, and I love that we know this family. I see lots of slumber parties in these friends' futures!

Cousin Day in Franklin
Abby was in town and Ali had to go to a meeting for her dearest ex-husband, so I kept the kids down in Franklin to play for the afternoon. Fancy came up with several crafts for everyone to do and the kids had a complete blast.
