The day before Halloween, we took the kids to visit Great Grandma Jody and Great Grandma Shirley. We met Ainsley and Landrey at Grandma Jody's too and the kids had fun playing together in their outfits while we visited for a while. Grandma Shirley had loads of candy for the kids and a puzzle for Ayla also. Overall, it was a successful visiting day!

Pacers Kids Day
The Indianapolis Pacers held a free event for the 1st 2,000 guests, so we were sure to attend. Kids got a free lunch and then we got to watch the Pacers do a scrimmage game and also watch some neat basketball tricks. Do we not have the cutest kids ever?

Fall Break
The week before Fall Break, Blair was playing Hide-and-Seek with Ayla and Jasper outside. When he told the kids that it was time to come in to take a bath, Ayla ran toward him and tripped between the grass and driveway. She scraped up her poor face and knocked in her top right, front tooth. When I got home from Parent/Teacher Conferences that night, her face was so swollen that Blair could hardly feel in her mouth to make sure her teeth were still there. I finally could get my finger in there to see that her tooth was clearly loose. We had to call the dentist on the emergency line and see what he said in case her root would be time sensitive to loosing her tooth. Dr. Hickman said that he would get her in to see him at 9:00 the next morning and he would take pictures to see what was going on. When she went to the appointment and they took pictures, they found that she had fractured her gum line. We were told to make sure that she only had soft foods for the next week. Also to watch the tooth to see if it would change color. After a couple weeks, her poor scab went away and her tooth started to tighten back up. We will keep watching it, but I think she will be okay in the end. Probably one of the most traumatic experience yet with my baby girl!
Over Fall Break, we had a blast. We painted and carved pumpkins, visited the library, Went to Zoo Boo, and took a weekend trip to Lake Rudolph. We had such a good time and I know I say it every time, but I absolutely LOVE being home with my babies for long periods of time. This break was especially wonderful because I got to see how how well Ayla and Jasper played together. They are turning into such best friends and it warms my heart to see them play together and learn together.
