Swimming with Aunt Angie

 Angie was in town and asked Ayla and I to come over to swim at her aunt's house. We had a great time and Ayla got to wear her "special sunglasses" as Angie calls them.  :-)

Ayla Laughs for the 1st Time

It couldn't have been more perfect!  Fancy and I were walking through Old Time Pottery looking for a couple things and Ayla started to get fussy.  So I took her out of her car seat and walked around with her instead.  We stopped by a mirror and sometimes she likes to look at herself.  But this time, she belted out in a huge fit of laughter!  I looked at my mom and said "Awww!"  That's the first time she's ever laughed!  So she got out her phone really quickly and caught the rest on video.  It is times like these that I'm so glad I got to stay home with Miss Ayla for the first few months of her life - and that I'm a teacher so I'll always be able to have her in the summers.  She's just the cutest baby ever!

A Weekend with the Cousins

This weekend Ayla got to meet her cousins Grady, Emma, and Abby for the first time!  She also got to hang out with Cousins Kinsley, Ainsley, and Landrey again.  We had a blast visiting with everyone and putting the kiddos together.  While we were in Salem visiting Kinsley, Ayla got to go swimming in her first big pool.  And Kinsley offered to let Ayla borrow her Exersaucer and Jump-a-Roo since she's big enough for them now!  She's growing faster than we can keep up!
